Are you sick of the bullshit that spews forth from the screen, the newspaper, the radio..embedded journalists bring the truth like plastic flowers to a flower show. 'Listen' they say'we come to "liberate", whats a few casualties for freedom (ours is at stake, at your expense), Like the Berlin wall , they said, a historic and monumental day, they said
as the US tanks helped topple Saddam's statue in Saddam square ( www.scoop.co.nz/stories/HL0304/S00117.htm) , on the telly, they showed crowds of extatic, jubilant Iraqis, cheers the demise of the dictator (no bad thing) , but this was deciet waved in our eyes like a patriotic flags, with the bold audacity of stating 'believe it'. This was no crowd, it was a theatre piece, a spin job, a set up. In a city of 5 million, the US mustered no more than 150 people to attempt to rewrite history even before it got cold.

each morning comes the latest slant
comes rolling of the press
all the people that have been saved
like a turkey being dressed
and I know one way of the other
there are those who 'cant care less'
so ladies and gents present your tickets
for the one-way ride on the Babylon express.
